Hello Week #6 of Crochet Vintage
DID you enjoy crocheting last week's CLUSTER V-STITCH crochet stitch?
Did you have fun with Week #5 ? I hope you had fun changing colours and playing with the stitch pattern, AS MUCH AS I DID.
This week #6
I am continuing with MORE simple and beautiful CLUSTERS and V-STITCHES another great crochet stitch straight out of my vintage 1970's stitch collection.
This Cluster and V-Stitch I like to call BRAMBLES, because that's what this crochet stitch reminds me of, lovely summertime blackberries ready for the picking.
I will show you how to crochet a swatch with the basic stitches and ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS REMEMBER to have some fun whilst crocheting this stitch.
I suggest you start with one (1) colour and then have a play with some colour changing, every row if you wish, and watch how the stitches stand out and create a lovely pattern. I think this is another great stitch for blankets, shawls, or scarves. And I am sure you can think of numerous other ways to use this lovely stitch.
You will be amazed how easy it is to master this BRAMBLES crochet stitch, it is really simple, quick and quite meditative.
REMEMBER you are the creator use whatever yarn or thread you have, and enjoy the process.
Are you ready to join me? Let's play and have some Crochet Vintage fun!
